Hashim is the founder and managing director of Researchcare Africa. Hashim has 14 years of experience in humanitarians and development organizations, he managed multiple and technical programmes implemented in multiple regions and countries. He has worked with various local and international development and humanitarian organizations within Horn and East Africa and delivered project within the regions of Somaliland, Somalia, Kenya Uganda and south Sudan. He has undertaken consultancy relating to project monitoring, evaluation, assessments, and research and organization development within the development and humanitarian sectors. He delivered numerous consultancies for various agencies such as Danish Refugee Council (DRC), ACTED, Solidarites International, CARE, OXFAM GB, PACT, DRC, GIZ, Deloitte, KPMG and IOM government of Kenya and Federal Government of Somalia. His areas of expertise include; research, value for money strategies, Monitoring and evaluation, and organizational and risk assessments, Institutional development and organizational change.
Hashim holds PhD in leadership and organisational change, and Master of Science in organisational development from United States International University. He also has master of business administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Arts in economics and sociology from university of Nairobi. Hashim is certified public accountant (CPAK).
Himish Mahmoud has hands on experience in conducting political, security and risk management analysis and research.Â Himish has worked with various local and international development agencies and humanitarian organizations within Horn and East Africa. With over 9 years of experience in humanitarian and development organizations, he managed multiple and technical programs implemented in various regions in Somalia. Has extensively worked in Somalia and delivered project within the regions of Somaliland, Puntland, and South Central Somalia. Has undertaken consultancy relating to project monitoring, evaluation, assessments, research and organization development within the development and humanitarian sectors implementing programs within Somalia including, ACTED, Oxfam GB, Catholic Relief Services, DRC, etc.
Himishâ€™s areas of expertise include; research, governance, political and media analysis, peace building, project management and monitoring and evaluation. Himish has a Post-Graduate Degree in Project Management and MA International Studies and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Has more than 12 years of hands-on working experience in international humanisation organisations including Oxfam international and MÃ©decins Sans FrontiÃ¨res (MSF) International in Kenya and Somalia. She has an extensive experience in financial and grant management, organizational system review and assessments in different international organizations working in Somalia, Southern Sudan &Â Â Kenya. Â She holds Master of Arts in Projects Management from university of Nairobi and Bachelor of Business Administration from Kenya Methodist University.
Wangari Wanjau has 13 years working experience in complex humanitarian and development environment. Wangari has successfully managed and delivered in-country programmes in food security, livelihoods, shelter, water and hygiene promotion and camp management. Wangari possesses strong technical skills in programme design, proposal development, implementation, evaluation, assessments, strategic planning, programme monitoring and accountability. She has excellent proven competencies in networking, managing partnerships, and coordination, particularly in emergency and recovery phases and is experienced in building capacity of local partners.
She is a trainer on a range of humanitarian standards including SPHERE, LEGS, GEG, CMDRR and cash-assistance programming. Wangari has worked with OXFAM, UN-WFP, Trocaire and ASHOKA in Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan and Pakistan.Â She holds has a BA in Development Studies and Master in Public Policy and Management.
Obando Ekesa is an experienced consultant in Research, Evaluation and Community Development with over 10 yearsâ€™ experience working for various organizations, both in the private and humanitarian sectors. He holds a Bachelorâ€™s Degree in Education and Master of Public Health (MPH) degree.Â Obando has extensive experience in designing and implementing projects ranging from health, WASH, food security, livelihoods and nutrition for various organizations he has worked with and consulted for
Abdikarim has worked in both private and development sectors within East and central Africa. He has over 14 years of working experience in corporate, humanitarian and development organizations; Abdikarim has managed technical programs across in Kenya and Somalia. He has vast experience in implementing projects across Somalia including Somaliland, Puntland, south and central Somalia. He has been engaged in various consultancies relating to project monitoring, evaluation, baseline survey, capacity building on good governance, third party monitoring, research and institutional development. He has conducted numerous consultancies for many development organizations including, Oxfam Novib, DAI and DRC. His areas of expertise include; research, cash transfer programming in a volatile environment of Somalia, monitoring and evaluation, institutional development and organizational change.
Abdikarim Holds Master of Arts in Project Planning and Management from University of Nairobi and Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Management from Islamic University in Uganda. He is currently finalizing his PhD in Business Administration (Strategic Management) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
With over 13 years of experience in humanitarians and consulting, Abdullahi has managed various projects within Kenya and Somalia and has consulted for different organizations. He has undertaken project evaluation and baselines studies related to, conflict management, WaSH, nutrition, food security within Kenya and Somalia.
Abdullahi has conducted assignments for numerous agencies including monitoring and evaluation of project within Somaliland, Somalia and Kenya.Â He holds Master of Arts (Economics) and Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from University Of Nairobi. He is currently finalizing his second masters in MSc Public Policy from University College London.
