Our Team
Researchcare has multiple levels of management that closely collaborate and deliver effective results. Researchcare teams are comprised of partners and associates and project teams. Researchcare has over 190 staff on its database who are frequently engaged to deliver assignments. Our teams possess requisite credentials and are well experienced, and skilled in evaluation, research, data management (online /paper), project management, and providing advisories. In addition, our consultants are well versed in current and past socio-economic-political, security and cultural dynamics of communities we work with and have more than 12 years of humanitarian and development experience in Horn and east Africa. The organization’s organogram is shown in figure 1 below.

Hashim Shuria PHD
Hashim has worked with various local and international development and humanitarian organizations within the Horn and Eastern Africa. He has over 18 years of experience in humanitarian and development organizations and managed multiple and complex programmes implemented in multiple regions and countries. He has undertaken consultancies including; project monitoring, evaluations, assessments, research and organization development within the development and humanitarian sectors. He consulted for various agencies such as; UNDP, UNICEF, UNHCR, GIZ, FAO, IOM, World Vision, Save the Children, DRC, ACTED etc. His areas of expertise include; research, monitoring and evaluation, value for money (vfm) strategies, public financial management, risk assessments and organizational change & development. He has PhD in Business Administration and MSC in organisational development from United States International University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and BA in Economics and Sociology from The University of Nairobi.
Himish Mahmoud
With over 15 years of experience in humanitarian and development organizations, Himish has managed multiple and complex programs implemented in various regions in Kenya and Somalia. Himish’s areas of expertise include; research, governance, political and media analysis, peace building, project management and monitoring and evaluation. He has extensively worked and delivered projects within the regions of Somaliland, Puntland, and South-Central Somalia ranging from humanitarian, development and stabilization projects.
Himish has hands-on experience in conducting political, security and risk management analysis and has undertaken various consultancies relating to project monitoring, evaluation, assessments, research and organization development with development and humanitarian agencies. Himish has MA International studies and Bachelor’s degree in Political Science & Sociology from the University of Nairobi and post-graduate diploma in project management.
Abdullahi Abdinoor
With over 15 years of experience in humanitarian and development work, Abdullahi has managed various projects and has consulted for different international organizations and UN agencies in the region. He has specifically undertaken numerous project evaluation and baseline studies related to food security, conflict management, WASH, nutrition among other sectors. He is specialized in policy analysis, governance, research and monitoring and evaluation. Abdullahi holds MSc in Public Policy – University College London; Master of Arts in Economics – University of Nairobi and Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Moi University.
